Robin Macoubrie is the General Manager of Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri, where she brings over three decades of compassionate leadership and service to families during their most difficult times. A licensed funeral director, Robin has dedicated her career to upholding the highest standards in funeral care and community support.
In addition to her role at Lindley Funeral Home, Robin has served as Deputy Coroner for Livingston County, Missouri, for the past 20 years. Her extensive experience in both fields reflects her deep commitment to public service and her community.
A proud graduate of Chillicothe High School, Robin has strong roots in the area and values the close-knit connections she maintains with local families. She is married to Dana J. Macoubrie, and together they have a large and loving blended family.
Robin’s life reflects a deep sense of purpose, compassion, and service—both professionally and personally.


Kris Roberts is a licensed embalmer and funeral director with over 40 years of dedicated service in the funeral profession. She began her career in Wichita, Kansas, where she laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong vocation in compassionate care.
Kris joined Lindley Funeral Home in 1996. Her deep experience, professionalism, and heartfelt commitment to the families she serves have made her a respected and trusted presence in the community.
Married to Kevin Roberts since 1987, Kris is a proud mother of three and grandmother to
six—so far. She lives on a farm where she and her family raise cattle and sheep, and she
enjoys spending time in her flower garden. A unique passion of hers is raising butterflies,
particularly monarchs, a hobby she shares with her grandchildren contributing to the
conservation and appreciation of these beautiful creatures.
With a career rooted in service and a life grounded in family and nature, Kris continues to bring both skill and sensitivity to every aspect of her work.


With over 20 years of experience in customer service, and administrative support, Jennie
Washburn is a dedicated Funeral Director at Lindley Funeral Homes.
Jennie’s career has been shaped by her deep commitment to serving families during some of life’s most challenging times. Her expertise in both the administrative and emotional aspects of funeral care ensures a seamless and compassionate experience for those she serves. Jennie has earned a reputation for her attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to guide families with warmth and empathy through every step of the funeral process. Her longstanding career reflects her passion for helping others, combined with an in-depth understanding of the logistics involved in funeral services.
Jennie is also a Livingston County Deputy Coroner, her compassionate personality is valuable in serving the families in this capacity. At Lindley Funeral Homes, Jennie continues to provide unparalleled support to families, offering both professional guidance and personal care. Jennie is a Trenton native. She made Chillicothe her home in 2017, and truly enjoys the Chillicothe community and all it has to offer.


Shanna Brown joined Lindley Funeral Home in 2017 as a funeral assistant and apprentice while pursuing her degree in Mortuary Science. Her journey into the funeral industry was deeply personal, inspired by her own experiences following the passing of her father. With a background as a licensed cosmetologist, Shanna brings over 34 years of customer service experience to her work, ensuring each family receives the compassionate, personalized care
they deserve during one of life’s most difficult times.
Shanna is passionate about serving others, and her commitment to helping families through their loss is at the heart of everything she does. She resides in Chillicothe, Missouri, with her husband, Clayton, and is the proud mother of three sons and a loving grandmother.


With over 30 years of experience in customer service and administrative training, Karen Gates is a dedicated and compassionate Office Administrator for Lindley Funeral Homes in Chillicothe, Missouri. Karen's diverse background has honed her ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring that the daily operations of the funeral home run smoothly. Her long-standing career is rooted in a deep commitment to helping others, a trait that has been central to her success in both customer service and her role at Lindley Funeral Homes.
Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and a warm, caring approach, Karen enjoys the role she plays in supporting the staff she works with. Outside of work, Karen enjoys life on a farm with her husband, Gil. Together, they have raised four children and are proud grandparents to ten. She values family time, tending to the farm, and the quiet joys of rural living. She loves teaching her grandchildren the importance of farm animals, gardening and natural resources.
