Sharon K Buckner

Sharon K. Buckner, age 78, a resident of Gravette, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 at her residence. She was born the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Gardner) Harding on April 1, 1947 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to George Buckner on July 25, 1991. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2004.
Sharon was a graduate of Chillicothe High School. She had a career in nursing. She was a former member of the Chillicothe Eagles #2428, Chillicothe, Missouri. She liked to play bingo and collect Coca-Cola products. Sharon was a bird fanatic; she had a bird aviary in her back yard. She often would receive bags of birdseed as gifts.
She is survived by two daughters, Sara Detherage of Gravette, Arkansas, and Susan Christensen of Salt Lake City, Utah; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Bonnie) Harding, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and her companion, Ron Rose of the home. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; sons, Terry Larson and Aaron Larson; infant daughter, Rache’; and sisters, Beverly Thomas and Mary Ann Drew.
Graveside services will be held at Meadville Cemetery, Meadville, Missouri on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. There will be no formal visitation, however, friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
