Saunda Lynn Figg Saunda Lynn Figg, age 56, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at her residence, with her family and friends by her side. Saunda was born the daughter of Niram and Zelpha (Cooper) Williams on September 22, 1961, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1979 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was united in marriage to James "Jim" Figg on June 8, 1979, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. Saunda worked as a school bus driver for the Chillicothe and Chula School Districts. She was a member of the Livingston County Fair Board. Saunda was involved in the Livingston County 4-H. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting, and cooking. Survivors include her husband, Jim of the home; one son, David Figg and fiancé Melanie Goad of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Cassy Carpenter and husband Bobby of Linneus, Missouri; four grandchildren, Elle, Cami, and Eli Carpenter, and Cole Goad; two brothers, Danny Williams of Chula, Missouri, and Frank Williams of Chillicothe, Missouri; and one sister, Sandy Hoskins of Chula, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Sharon Kepner. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, October 20, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Hale Memorial Gardens, Hale, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Hale Memorial Gardens and/or Kansas City Sheltie Rescue and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
