Sara Catherine Littrell

Sara Catherine Littrell, age 70, a resident of Richland, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri.
Sara was born the daughter of John R. and Daisy Catherine (Call) McKiddy, on June 8, 1954 in Trenton, Missouri. She was a graduate of Tri-County High School and graduated with a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. She was a beloved teacher and co-worker. She retired as the Superintendent of Livingston County R-III School District in Chula, Missouri after several years of service. She was also a member of the Missouri Retired Teachers Association. Sara last attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where she played the piano. She enjoyed traveling with her companion, Ron, attending the St. Louis Symphony and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Sara loved her family, and enjoyed celebrating holidays, reunions and birthdays together.
Survivors include one son, Cody Littrell (Mendy) of Niangua, Missouri; one daughter, Kelly Alexander (Josh) of Richland, Missouri; her mother, Daisy McKiddy of Jamesport; two brothers, John T. McKiddy (Leanna) of Jamesport, Missouri and Daniel D. McKiddy (Sherry) also of Jamesport, Missouri; five grandchildren, Gracie, Mason, Case, Aiden and Kassidy; her companion, Ronald Lutz, of the home; and aunts, nieces, nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, John R. McKiddy.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held at Jamesport Masonic Cemetery, Jamesport, Missouri.
