Richard Q Kirby

Richard Q. Kirby, age 77, a resident of Milan, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Stover’s Residential Care, Milan, Missouri. He was born the son of Lee W. and Dorothy M. (VanDyke) Kirby on July 5, 1947 in Linneus, Missouri.
Richard was a member of the Church Of Christ, Chillicothe, Missouri. During his working years, he was a Pallet Builder at Hope Haven, Chillicothe, Missouri. He enjoyed farming with his father, driving the tractor, helping with the crops and putting up hay. He enjoyed all aspects of farming except for milking the cow.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Bennett of Chillicothe, Missouri; his niece, Christina Bennett; and a large family consisting of aunts and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
