Patricia Sue Henry, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was born the daughter of Francis Edward and Beulah Madean (Bowers) Thompson on April 18, 1941, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Patricia lived a life full of love, compassion, and creativity.
After completing two years of nursing school, Patricia embarked on a fulfilling career as a nurse, where her kindness and dedication touched the lives of many. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her professional life, as she was a devoted mother to her son, J. R. Henry III, and a loving grandmother to her two grandchildren, Willow and Maxwell Henry, who brought immense joy to her life.
Patricia had a passion for woodworking and lapidary, finding beauty in the natural world and expressing it through her art. She was an avid nature lover, often spending her free time exploring the outdoors and appreciating the simple wonders of life.
Her memory will be cherished by her son, J. R. Henry III, and his wife, Sarah, of North Oaks, Minnesota, along with her grandchildren, Willow and Maxwell, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband, James Riley Henry Jr., and her brother, Frank Ray Thompson.
