Norma Sue Blankenship, age 86, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at StoneBridge Senior Living, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Norma was born the daughter of Noble Randall and Opal Anna (Williams) Randall on October 19, 1939 in Wheeling, Missouri. She attended Kansas City Business School after graduating high school. Norma was united in marriage to Ted Blankenship on December 21, 1958, they shared 67 years together. He survives of the home.
Norma was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri where she was the Kindergarten Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a member of Gideon’s Auxiliary and delivered Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by one son, Tim Blankenship (Kim) of DeSoto, Kansas; one daughter, Kim Madrigal of Mission, Kansas; three grandchildren, Jessica Oberhelman (Joshua) of Olathe, Kansas, TJ Blankenship (Megan) of Shawnee, Kansas and Brett Madrigal (Katie) of Leavenworth, Kansas; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Randall (Sandy) of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Judy Welborn of Epworth, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
