Michael Albert McLin, age 57, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Michael was born the son of Jerry and Karen (Bell) McLin, Missouri. He was a 1986 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Williams, on June 30, 2001, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home.
Michael was a Herdsman for Trans Ova Genetics in Chillicothe. He enjoyed helping friends and neighbors and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Michael was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Chillicothe, and 9 Pin Bowling League. He enjoyed horseback riding and Nascar. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, deer hunting, river fishing and catching rattle snakes were his passion. Everyone knew him as “Blue Streak” on the CB radio. He would join in on a game of Texas Hold’em or Pitch whenever the opportunity arose.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of the home; his father, Jerry McLin, of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister, Anne Anderson (Mark) of Dawn, Missouri; one niece, Marley Anderson; two nephews, Mack and Morgan Anderson; two God-daughters, Sydni and Megan Fisher; and his fur babies, Lucky, Bandit and Golden Nugget. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen; one nephew, Tye Anderson; paternal grandparents, Jesse and Anna Grace McLin; maternal grandparents, Clayton and Margaret Bell; and special pup, Junior, and his equine friends, Mack and Lady.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm. Burial will be held at Brassfield Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
