Marilyn Beth Brown, age 65, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Marilyn was born the daughter of Chester Leroy and Virginia May (Greenawalt) Cooper on September 20, 1960, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1978 graduate of Meadville R-4 High School. She was united in marriage to Larry Brown on August 12, 1983, in Kansas City, Missouri. He survives of the home. Marilyn worked as a Data Analyst for Manpower in Ohio for many years. In her youth, she attended Meadville Baptist Church. Marilyn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies, they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and watching birds.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Brown, of the home; two daughters, Lindsay Fondren and husband, Jessie, of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Megan Brown-Smith, and husband, Benjamin, of Chillicothe, Missouri; and six grandchildren, Haley Smith, Cooper Brown, Rian McLey, Easton McLey, Chase Ness, and Neely Smith. She is also survived by one brother, Gary Cooper, and wife, Brenda, of Meadville, Missouri; and nieces, Crystal Cooper, Laura Norris, and Courtney Ostendorf. She was preceded in death by her parents; one nephew, Craig Cooper; one brother, Jerry Cooper; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dean and June Brown.

Cremation was held. No services are scheduled at this time.
