Linda Sue Tweedy, age 72, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Linda was born the daughter of Howard M. and Rebecca Jane (Miller) Liles in Spring Valley, Illinois on October 4, 1953. She was united in marriage to James Tweedy on October 3, 2000 in Armstrong, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2003.
Linda enjoyed watching movies and meeting new people. She did not know a stranger. She loved everything Elvis and was an avid collector of pens and bibles.
She is survived by two sons, Frankie Miller of Chillicothe, Missouri and David Shan of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands William Shan and James Tweedy.
There are no services scheduled at this time. An Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
