With broken hearts, Gage and KayLee Mansfield announce the passing of their beloved son, Krew Atlas Mansfield, who was born sleeping at 16 weeks gestation on July 18, 2025, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Though his time on earth was brief, Krew left a lasting impact filled with love, strength and connection. His name symbolizes unity and endurance – Krew, for the bond he created, and Atlas, for the weight of love he carried. Though he never took a breath, he will be remembered forever as a deeply cherished part of our family.
Krew is survived by his parents, Gage and KayLee Mansfield of Dawn, Missouri; his siblings, Zoie and Easton Mansfield, Alivia Jeffries, and Remington and Rosalyn Clevenger; his paternal grandparents, Mike and Betty Mansfield; maternal grandparents, Donnie Burnett and Angie Wells; great grandmother, Dortha King; his aunt and uncle, Chloe and Joey DeAngelo; his cousin, Georgia DeAngelo; and his aunt, Lauren Mansfield, along with many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Richard King; and his cousin, Joey DeAngelo, who now holds him in Heaven.
Private arrangements will be handled by Lindley Funeral Home. The family extends heartfelt thanks for the prayers and support during this difficult time. Krew’s life, though short, will be remembered with endless love.
