Kim Marcine Weeks, age 65, a resident of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, in Chillicothe, Missouri, at the home of her niece.
Kim was born the daughter of Myron and Anna (Denning) Littlechild, on October 30, 1959, in Scott City, Kansas. She attended college at Garden City Community College.
Kim was a member of Saint Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, in Omaha, Nebraska where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Friends in Serving Humanity group. She volunteered for many events, such as Adopt a Child for Christmas and the Back to School program. Kim was a beloved Girl Scout leader, and enjoyed going to the casino. She loved her dogs and spending quality time with her grandchildren. According to Kim, “God has a plan for each of us.”
Kim is survived by her daughter, Jarah Lee (Jordan) of Omaha, Nebraska; four sons, Jeremy Weeks of Omaha, Nebraska, Joshua Weeks of Omaha, Nebraska, Jeffrey Weeks (Vinessa) of Grantville, Georgia and James Weeks of Omaha, Nebraska; their father, James Weeks of Omaha, Nebraska; ten grandchildren, Juliet, Ryleigh, Jennah, Jace, Cross, Jackson, Madelyn, Mason, James and Azalea; one brother, Michael “Mickey” Littlechild of Edmond, Oklahoma; and one sister, Kathy Fleury (Joe) of Garden City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Myralea Staab and Dana Hamilton; and one infant brother, Steven Littlechild.
A cremation was held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. A parish rosary will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:30 a.m, 30 minutes proir to service at the Saint Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Omaha, Nebraska. A Celebration of Life will be held after mass at the German-American Society, 3717 S. 120th St, Omaha, Nebraska, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
