Judith Marie Firth, age 72, a resident of Hamilton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at her residence.
Judith was born the daughter of George Willard and Joan (Harris) Vincent on November 8, 1953 in Liberty, Missouri. She was a graduate of Excelsior Springs High School.
Judith worked as the Clay County Assessor for several years. She also worked in the Children’s Division in Caldwell and Clay Counties. Later, she worked as a CNA. Judith enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning what she grew as well as planting flowers. She liked to go fishing; she also spent her spare time quilting. Judith had a special fondness for her cat, Fuzzy.
Survivors include two sons, James Payne and wife Jessica of Hamilton, Missouri and Donald Payne of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; one daughter, Chasity Payne of Braymer, Missouri; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers, Roger Vincent, David Vincent, Billy Vincent all of Excelsior Springs, Missouri and Terry Vincent and wife, Katrina of Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Larry Vincent.
A cremation was held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
