John Baltis (JB) Thistlethwaite, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on January 3, 2022, in Colorado Springs.
He was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, on June 12, 1942, to Marjorie and Jerry Thistlethwaite. He graduated from The University of Missouri in 1964. He served in the US Army, owned a successful landscaping business and railroad hobby shop. He was an avid photographer, railroad enthusiast, dedicated church member and scout leader of Troop 120 in Chillicothe.
He is survived by his wife Katherine of the home; three sons, Greg and wife Amy of Canton, Texas, Mike of Dallas, Texas, Christopher of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a sister, Karol Colliver of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and two grandchildren, Kelsi and Derek.
