**Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Colliver**
Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Colliver, age 79, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16th, 2026, in her home in Tina, Missouri. Born in Greenock, Scotland, on Friday, November 22nd, 1946, she lived a life filled with love, adventure, and service, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
On February 4, 1966, she married her husband Gerald "Joe" Colliver. They had met in Scotland while Joe was serving in the Navy. As a dedicated housewife, she gracefully balanced the challenges of raising their children, Shane and Shannon, while supporting their family through countless relocations. They moved to Tina, Missouri in 1984.
A high school graduate, Betty Ann was known for her vibrant personality and caring nature. She was an active member of The Round Table Club, a social club she and Joe belonged to, where they formed many lifelong friendships. Her passions included camping, gardening, knitting, and tending to her indoor plants. She also had a particular fondness for collecting lighthouses, which brought her much joy.
Betty Ann is survived by her devoted husband, Joe; her son, Shane Colliver and his wife, Amy, of Bogard, Missouri; her daughter, Shannon Colliver of Tina, Missouri; and her two grandchildren, Chandler (Peyton) Colliver and Adelyn Cooper, and one great granddaughter, Brynlee. Her legacy lives on through her siblings, Margaret Ford of Australia and Stewert Leslie of Scotland. She is also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Sheyanne Reid, and seven siblings: Rinie, John, James, Robert, Hellen, William, and Henry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, one hour prior to service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery, Coloma, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Coloma Cemetery and/or families' choice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
Betty Ann Colliver will be remembered for her unwavering love and the warmth she shared with everyone. Her family takes comfort in the memories of laughter and love that defined her remarkable life. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
