Eileen Louise Simons, age 93, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at The Laurel at Norterre, in Liberty, Missouri. She was born the daughter of William "Bill" and Marion (Dahlberg) Peters on May 29, 1933, in Laurens, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Boyd Simons on October 7, 1972 in Sioux City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2015.

Eileen was a dedicated restaurant manager at the Tina Livestock Auction in Tina, Missouri, where she and her late husband, Boyd, owned and operated the Tina Livestock Auction. Her passion for cooking and baking was well-known, and she took great joy in sharing her baked goods with everyone around her. Eileen's love for her flower beds and gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms that adorned her home, a testament to her nurturing spirit.

Eileen's legacy is carried on by her loving family: her three sons, Nick Miller (Lori) of Braymer, Missouri, Doug Simons (Tracy) of Alta, Iowa, and Craig Simons (Sandy) of Liberty, Missouri; her three daughters, Julie Howe (Jack) of Lake Tapawingo, Missouri, Dian Hallmark (Mike) of Austin, Texas, and Kay Simons of Phoenix, Arizona. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. Eileen is also survived by her brother, Charles Peters of Webb, Iowa, and her sister-in-law, Delores Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" Peters and Marion Peters, her beloved husband, Boyd Simons, one daughter, Dorlis Miller; two brothers, Darlo Peters and Marvin Peters; and two sisters-in-law.
