Donna Conner

Donna Faye (Jacobs) Conner passed away peacefully in her home on June 14, 2025. She was 83 years old. She was born December 1, 1941, in Chillicothe, Missouri, to Melvin and Mabel (Howe) Jacobs.
She was united in marriage to Charles Edward Buntin on January 27, 1962, and had two daughters. She lived in Alaska, California, and later returned to Missouri.
She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. After raising her daughters, Donna began working in the healthcare field until her retirement.
Donna was extremely generous and found joy in helping others. Some of her happiest times were spent sitting on her sister Bonnie's front porch, sharing stories and laughter. She loved cooking and baking. She was well known for her pies and never used a store-bought crust. The most important thing in her life was family. Pictures of her grandkids and great grandkids adorned every inch of space in her home. She loved Jesus and prayed for her loved ones daily.
Donna is survived by two daughters, Tanya (Brett) Taillon of Lampe, Missouri, and Maria (Kendall) Whittmore of Blue Mound, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jordan (Suzanne) Taillon, Zachary (Melissa) Taillon, Amanda (Tyler Garcia) McCullough, and Lane (Kristen Johnson) Peters; eight great-grandchildren, Dominic, Michael, Jean-Baptiste, Scott, Alexander, Jackson, Theo, and Sophie.
