Danny Lee Boylan, age 71, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Dan was born the son of Henry and Virginia (Carpenter) Boylan on December 14, 1953, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a graduate of Chillicothe High School and attended Linn State Technical School. Dan was united in marriage to Connie Marie Kane on November 14, 1986 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death on August 18, 2014.
Dan was a 32nd Degree Master Mason. He worked as a draftsman for SEMCO in Chillicothe, Missouri, before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks. He enjoyed boating, fishing and riding his Harley. Dan was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He also enjoyed music, dancing and most of all spending time with friends and family. His children were his pride and joy. Dan and Connie hosted many family and friends gatherings, dockside at the lake and in the backyard where plenty of volleyball and horseshoes was played. The boisterous Dan Boylan laugh will be missed by all.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Kane (Angie) of Bourbonnais, Illinois; three daughters, Ilene Ewing of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Morgan Crainshaw of Jefferson City, Missouri and Katie Boylan (Matt) of Arnold, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Reily Kane, Sydney Kane, Mason Ewing, Sloan Ewing, Rozlyn Powers, Harley Davis, Dalene Wallace and Maverick Estes; two great grandchildren; one brother, Ray Boylan of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Donna Edwards (Donnie) of Purdin, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Ron Cassity. He was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, his wife, Connie; and nephew, Luke Boylan.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
