Chris Karney Ketcham, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital, Lees Summit, Missouri. He was born the son of Kenneth and Shirley (Smith) Ketcham on September 8, 1963 in North Kansas City, Missouri.

Chris was a graduate of Park Hill High School, Kansas City, Missouri. He was a welder and fabricator at Landmark Custom Metal Fabrication, Gallatin, Missouri, Chris loved anything aviation related. He was an avid fan of The Kansas City Chiefs, The Kansas City Royals and Missouri Tigers.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Higgins of Chillicothe, Missouri; and brother, Brad Ketcham and his wife, Denise of Wichita, Kansas. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ketcham. Despite the challenges he faced in life, Chris demonstrated resilience and strength that deeply inspired those who knew him. His caring nature and infectious laughter will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
