Carolyn Sue Fields, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on April 9, 2025, in her home.
Carolyn was born the daughter of Ralph and Stacy May (Gash) Cranmer, on June 1, 1945 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a Med-Tech and caregiver through the Community Options in Chillicothe, Missouri.
Carolyn was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.
Carolyn is survived by three sons, Garrett Goldman of Chillicothe, Missouri, Mark Goldman (Mary) of Independence, Missouri and Charles Goldman (Linda) of Independence, Missouri; one daughter, Dana Blackburn of Chillicothe, Missouri; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Dale Cranmer of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Cranmer; one daughter, Janice Goldman; and siblings, Patty, Robert, Leroy and Sonny.
A cremation was held. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601. Online condolences may be made to www.lindleyfuneralhome.com.
