Canaan Charles Davis, age 27, a resident of Cameron, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Canaan was born the son of Chad Davis and Geri (Coltrain) Vincent, on December 1, 1997, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a graduate of Chanute High School, Chanute, Kansas.
Canaan was a member Milan Christian Church where he was baptized. He was owner and operator of Phil of All Trades Landscaping. Canaan’s passion was racing his Dodge Hellcat with his racing crew 007; chasing the 5 second pass. He was not only a collector of die-cast cars; he was the owner and operator of 007 Die Cast. He loved America and all holidays, especially the Fourth of July. Canaan liked to go shooting and spend time fishing with his beloved dogs, Butch, Zoey, and Sage.
He is survived by his parents, Geri and Steve Vincent of Ft. Scott, Kansas and Chad and Melissa Davis of Kingston, Missouri; one son, Paxton Michael Davis of Pineville, Missouri; six siblings, Vanessa (Tanner), Cameron (Lexi), Chuck, Phillip, Mackenzie, and Kaytlin; fiancé, Brandi McFall and sons, Kaydence and Kaiser of the home; nieces and nephews, Blayden, Braylee, Brantley, Rhett, Kai, River, Aurora and Jax; paternal grandparents, Mark Davis of Cameron, Missouri and Joyce Marley of Chillicothe, Missouri; maternal grandfather, Donald Coltrain of Newtown, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Norma Coltrain, and Forrest Vincent and Ruby Vincent.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Friday, October, 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canaan Davis Trust for his son, Paxton’s college education, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
