Loraine Maxine Roark Loraine Maxine Roark, age 95, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was born the daughter of John Irie and Maggie Mae (Childs) Roark on February 7, 1927, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1945 graduate of Chillicothe High School. Loraine worked for the Social Security Office, Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Loraine was a member of the Chillicothe Garden Club and the Community Choir. She was preceded in death by her parents a brother, Irie Kenton Roark who preceded her at the age of seven in 1923; three sisters, Geraldine Lucile Roark who preceded her in death at the age of 78 in 2004, Olive Louise Roark who preceded her at the age of seventy in 1983, and Thelma Pauline Roark who preceded her at the age of five in 1919. Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
